A description of each song on our album, Our Sweet Lord.
LYRICS
Welcome, everyone. This is a description of our album, Our Sweet Lord. I’m going to give you a little intro to each of the songs on this album.
“Global Respiritualization” boldly calls for the ultimate paradigm shift, an immediate global spiritual revolution. This will immediately solve all the problems of the world. Anyone who embraces within their heart this spiritual revolution will taste a life full of unlimited bliss.
My song “Tranquility” gives to the people of this planet the supreme benediction. It truly reveals the key that will set everyone free from all misery for all eternity.
My song “The Peace Formula” presents the perfect formula for world peace as spoken by Lord Krishna 5,000 years ago in the Bhagavad-gita. US President Obama very much appreciated my song and wrote me as follows on 24 December 2015 from the White House in Washington, DC:
Thank you for writing. Messages like yours serve as an important reminder of the work that still lies ahead, and they reflect a commitment to staying engaged in shaping the future we know is possible. As long as I’m president, I’ll keep pouring everything I have into securing a brighter tomorrow for people across our country.
Again, thank you for writing. By embracing hope and speaking out on issues that matter to you, you can help make a difference. I want you to know I’m listening, and I wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Barack Obama
I am hoping and praying that all the world’s leaders will now hear and follow the perfect peace formula as given in this song. If they do so, it will mark the beginning of the most amazingly wonderful era in all of global history.
“Turn On Your Soul” takes you beyond your temporary body to the awakening of your eternal, fully blissful and fully cognizant self. It defeats by a simple example the popular concocted notion that there is no Supreme Controller.
“Unlimited Oceans of Nectar” is based upon an amazing Sanskrit verse written many centuries ago by the great spiritual master, Srila Rupa Goswami. It reveals the secret of how to swim in an ocean of ever-increasingly unlimited bliss at every minute.
“Relieve the Burden of the Earth” reminds us of the difficulties that Mother Earth is presently experiencing and how we can successfully relieve her from this burden.
“Adore Adore Ye All” is a famous and most beautiful devotional poem that I have put to music. This poem was written back in 1935 or 1936 by my spiritual master, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada as an offering of love and devotion to his spiritual master, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur.
The lyrics to “Uselessly” are an English language rendition by my spiritual master, His Divine A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, of a beautiful Bengali language song written in India in the 16th century by the renowned saint Narottam Das Thakur. His deeply devotional song reminds us that we can tune into vibrations coming from the spiritual world to attain the perfectional stage of pure love of God which bestows upon us unlimited peace and happiness.
“Talkin’ Keep Austin Weird” tells about the time back in 1969 when I hitchhiked 2,000 miles to Austin, Texas from San Francisco. I was on a mission to bring a new era of love, peace, and happiness to our troubled planet. Once I arrived the most amazing turn of events brought me to a profound realization of the highest truth and how that truth can unlimitedly benefit and transform our entire planetary civilization.
“The Existential Blues” tells about the excruciating hell I went through back during my college days before I was blessed with the most wonderful gift of all: spiritual awakening.
