On 27 February, 2026  I was devastated to learn that my beloved Godbrother, Badrinarayana Maharaja, had all of a sudden the day before unexpectedly departed for the spiritual world while staying here in Vrindavan. This announcement pierced my heart like a burning dart. Just several days ago I had spoken with him here in Vrindavan expressing my good fortune to be blessed with his association. I expressed my pain of separation by singing this song of separation by Narottama  Das Thakur along with my wife and some of my disciples.
